Eid gift packages reach more than 300 families

Our Eid gift distribution this year reached over three hundred households in and around Gaibandha Sadar. Packages contained rice, lentils, cooking oil, semai, sugar and spices — the ingredients for a proper festival meal.

Volunteers packed the bags the night before and stamped the distribution tokens by hand. On the morning itself, recipients queued with their numbered slips at Uttar Para Government Primary School.

Twelve packages were carried to the homes of elderly and disabled recipients who could not make the journey.
