Our tree planting programme began in 2018 under the banner “ফুলে ফলে ভরে উঠবে আমাদের এই সোনার বাংলাদেশ” — may our golden Bangladesh be filled with flowers and fruit.
We plant with schools rather than for them. Children choose a sapling, plant it themselves and are responsible for watering it. A tree someone planted at nine years old is a tree that tends to survive.
